Headlight Restoration — Cars & Trucks
Waterloo, Ontario · Mobile service to your door
Safety first. UV-damaged headlights reduce your nighttime visibility by up to 70%. That's not an exaggeration — the yellowed, hazy plastic scatters light instead of directing it onto the road. You're driving with a fraction of the light your car was designed to throw. In rain, fog, or a Canadian winter night, that's a real risk to you, your passengers, and everyone else on the road.
Resale value. Faded headlights are the first thing buyers notice. A car with cloudy lenses looks neglected, older than it is, and like it's hiding something. A $139 restoration can add $500–$1,000 to your trade-in or private-sale value. It's the cheapest ROI you'll find on any vehicle.
It's not cosmetic. Once the UV protective layer degrades, the polycarbonate lens itself starts to pit and crack. The longer you wait, the more material has to be removed to get back to clear plastic. Catch it early and your lenses last the life of the vehicle.

Every headlight restoration follows the same proven process. We've done hundreds of cars and trucks across Waterloo Region — from compact sedans to full-size pickups. The result is consistently clear, like-new headlights that last.
We assess the lens condition, tape off surrounding paint and trim, and mask the vehicle to protect the finish.
Multi-stage wet-sanding removes oxidation, pitting, and UV damage. Each grit restores more clarity until the lens is optically clear.
A UV-blocking sealant or ceramic coating is applied and cured. Your headlights are protected against yellowing for years.
I started LensSavers because I got tired of seeing cars on the road with headlights so hazy they might as well have been driving with parking lights. I'm based in Waterloo — I know the roads here, the salt, the UV, the way a Canadian winter beats the plastic out of a lens in three seasons flat.
I don't use spray-on miracle products. Every job is wet-sanded by hand, graduated through four grits, and finished with a professional-grade sealant that actually blocks UV. The 3-year package covers the standard restore. The 7-year package adds a ceramic-infused top coat that's thicker and harder — worth it if you plan to keep the vehicle long-term or if you're restoring a truck that sees highway miles daily.
Mobile is my bread and butter. I bring the rig to your driveway, set up in about five minutes, and I'm done in under an hour. You don't lose your afternoon sitting in a waiting room.
